Passengers NFT
In the Xride project, passengers have access to transportation services. Each passenger possesses a unique digital asset known as a "Passenger NFT" within the system. These NFTs contain essential information such as the passenger's name, email, and phone number. Passengers utilize these NFTs to create ride requests.
Digital Identity:
In the Xride app, the user, as a passenger, is assigned a distinct NFT, securely recorded on the blockchain. This NFT serves as their digital identity, granting access to various platform features and services.
Transparency and Accountability:
The NFT maintains a transparent record of the passenger's activity on the platform, including their ride history, driver ratings, and feedback. This information is publicly accessible, ensuring passengers are held accountable for their conduct on the platform.
Rewards and Incentives:
Passengers with a positive track record and loyalty to the platform are eligible for rewards and incentives. These may include discounts, exclusive offers, or special access to certain features and events.
Payment and scoring system:
Within Xride decentralized payment ecosystem, passengers have the flexibility to choose their preferred method of paying for trips. Payment can be made in various digital currencies such as BTC, ETH, BUSD, BNB, and XRD.
Upon accepting the price offer, the agreed-upon amount is automatically locked in a smart contract, and the passenger's location is shared with the driver.
Transaction Settlement:
Post-trip, the smart contract disburses the locked amount to the driver's wallet.
User Satisfaction:
Both passengers and drivers are subject to a scoring system. These scores are recorded on their respective NFTs and serve as criteria for future trip selections.
Passengers NFT reputation
NFTs also serve as a form of reputation management for passengers. After completing a ride, drivers will rate their passengers based on their behavior and adherence to the platform's guidelines. This rating is then recorded on the passenger's NFT, which can be viewed by future drivers before sending a ride request. This encourages passengers to behave responsibly and courteously during rides and can help ensure a safer and more enjoyable transportation experience for all.
